So I have a service appointment for my 392 tomorrow morning and following the advice online I decided to unmarry and remove my Tazer mini. I did the unmarry then reboot and all hell broke loose. Start up screen went to Safari, the shifter is flashing yellow, the fuel gauge doesn’t work. All sensors seem to be throwing errors. I did the two sleep cycles and removed the Tazer and now my jeep is all jacked up. I tried to reboot and do the sleep cycles again but nothing changed. Help!

Plug the tazer back in and marry it. Does it clear the codes?

If so do 2 sleep cycles and un marry again.

it is my understanding that the marrying process stores the factory settings in the Tazer and unmarrying restores them. If the settings are all messed up wouldn’t marrying again store the messed up settings on the Tazer and delete anything useful stored on the Tazer?
I honestly don’t know enough about how it all works.

That is true, but in looking for a reset and attempt at working to its previous state is the goal.

Does it show unmarried when you're going through the menu?

Yes the menu prompt says to marry so it isn’t now.

Have you unplugged the batteries and let it sit for a minute and reconnect batteries. That may give the reset you need.

Have you emailed zauto?

I'm with Grayhound. Remove the battery cables and let the Jeep sit for 10 or 15 minutes. Then re-attach the cables and see what you get. That would be my first thought.

I did reach out to Z auto last night. Waiting for response. Unplugging the battery is an interesting idea.

Take out the Tazer and plug the Security Gateway back in.

I heard back from Z auto. The solution they suggested was to re-marry the tazer then create a config file to send them. They have an engineer who will modify the file based on my VIN and send it back to me. Unfortunately the one engineer is currently on vacation. lol.

^^ This. Sounds like you did not reconnect the security gateway.
Great topic, one thing I dont understand is how do you "put" your Jeep into sleep cycle. Do you mean after reboot get out and walk away til the screen goes blank?
