I installed a Tazer mini a couple days ago and seemed like everything was fine. I had to go through the marrying process twice. The first round after the restart, my jeep turned on, started and ran for 2 seconds before shutting off. I unmarried the Tazer and remarried it and all seemed to work fine.

The issue I found was that the reverse lights would be on during auto start - they never were before. I noticed last night when I was backing up that it seemed darker. Found out it was because the reverse lights were not on. Figure I'll go through another round of unmarrying and remarrying?

Mods installed by PO - AMP research power boards... not sure of the year. I also noticed that the puddle lights that normally turn on when the doors are open, do turn on but then shut off when the doors are fully open.

TLDR: Tazer mini was installed 3 days ago and have the following issues: the reverse lights don't work when in reverse; they are on during auto start; the AMP power running board puddle lights turn on but do not stay on when the doors are fully open.

Z Automotive is very responsive on text IIRC. What do they have to say?
Good to know! Didn't message them yet, figured I'd try here/ JT forums 1st.

Try a reboot and 2 sleep cycles. I had to. Seem to have taken care of it
Delayed reaction here. But yes, the 2 sleep cycles did the trick. Thanks!

Be VERY CAREFUL to do exactly how they say to do sleep cycles. Very important. You may have to do it again. Seems like it needs a couple of times to get satisfied. LOL

haha yeah I actually messed up during the 1st sleep cycle and had to restart the whole process over. Luckily nothing major happened, just did it again and it worked like a charm. I probably should’ve watched the YT videos like I normally do before any install so I don’t go in blind but got lazy 🤣 and here we are lol
