Tazer JL/JT Lite Programmer Support

Got a Tazer JL light thru Amazon. Though it would do everything I needed. If not I could upgrade. After install my GPS is not working from my phone, phone not work thru radio and no Uconnections. Will this be fixed if I upgrade to the mini? Sent their tech support an email, but they are out till next week. Sorry if this is common knowledge, but I can't find an answer.

Use Google. Something like "Tazer GPS JLWranglerforum" much better than the search function built into software. Good luck.

Was hoping to get an answer before trying anything. Don't look good. Plan on taking it out tomorrow and put it back. If everything works may try to reinstall. I connect my phone to the USB port and can control the maps on my phone thru the radio. That is gone. Using my phone thru bluetooth is gone. Also the U connect on the radio is gone. Didn't know if this was something with it being the JL lite.

None of that should be happening but when you say “the u connect on the radio is gone” that makes no sense. Unmarry and try again.

After doing a unmarry, re marry, unmarry and taking tazer out still didn't work. Paired wife's phone and it worked like a charm. Reinstalled the Tazer and her phone still works. Guess my phone decided to crap out while I was doing the first install. It had worked the day before. Thanks for all the advice.

That way was way better for me also. That's the only thing I have gotten out of this ordeal. Found nothing wrong with my phone. Returned to the jeep to try again and the radio would not power up. Everything else seemed fine. Powered downed, walked away then came back. Radio worked fine and the phone connected. Tazer is in, phone is working and life is good. Until it happens again. Will not work on it unless it starts again.

The only thing I can recommend for anything Tazer is the full reboot sequence is VERY important to follow ??
