Here is my AAL Versa table (color matched molle panel to granite grey). Has seen many food prep actions when camping. Dialing in the latch mechanism to minimize rattle takes times (aka an art form), but once done it is super solid and satisfying to use. I love it!

In case you wonder - I scratched the top right corner on the panel so the sticker is there to cover that.

I've the Front Runner tailgate table in my Jeep. It's the perfect blend of functionality and value. It's also been dead silent when stowed. The wooden portion of the table assembly can be removed and painted or stained at the owner's discretion. The table is also reversible, if the owner's use case requires it.

The pricing from competing brands, like American Adventure Lab and Goose Gear, is just too dear, not least because my table provides the same core features. The comically oversized branding on the Fishbone table made it a non-starter.

Agreed on the adjustment of the Q-latch. That took a little time finessing with it, but once dialed in, I haven't had any issues.

Here's my Trailgater in action today. I think this is one of my most used mods. I never really use it to cook while camping but mostly to park somewhere and have lunch with a nice view.

That looks really nice pretty much like it could be stock.

If you’re ever in the PNW specifically Ruston area waterfront “What A Catch” it’s attached/owned by the same guy or gal who owns wild fin! Best beer battered halibut I’ve ever had. And if you want amazing rock fish tacos! Wild fin is your place. Avoid Anthony’s and Stanley n seaforts. My buddies do their fire inspections and kitchen hoods and the disgusting things they’ve seen there are…well…disgusting!

And I think it’s called “ports of call” in Long Beach ca! It’s a huge seafood market and shopping area and they have fresh caught fish all day til close like wild fin! And fresh caught crab! We used to go there just about every weekend as a kid!

I would imagine you can. The tailgate tables seem to be pretty slim. And compared to the 2dr the 4dr storage area is like having a suburban! I think my wife’s Escalade and my 2 dr have the same size storage area. I can’t put our cooler in the back of her Escalade but I can in my 2dr. But I can’t fit our baby’s stroller in the back of the 2dr.

I lied they’re not the same size. It’s actually 2x(25.5)the size of the 2dr cargo area(12.9cuft). But some how I can fit more groceries and a cooler in that area behind the seats than she can. She can literally only fit her uppababy stroller on its side.

I ordered the AAL Versa Table last night based off this thread. Went with the poplar and textured black finish. Should look good on my white Jeep. Already made a jumper harness from the rear 12V power port to power the LED lamp and tucked it up under the rear trim for now.
