Switching between soft top to hard top question

Super pumped to switch from hard top to soft top this spring for the first time. Still pulling myself together from the price of a hoist/storage cart.

My question is actually for the fall when I switch from soft top back to hard top. After I remove the soft top, do I also need to remove the plastic trim pieces and brackets in order to get the hard top back on? Thanks!

The plastic track pieces that you bolt on will need to be removed but the two metal brackets on the roll bar do not.

Don't forget the 2 plastic bits on the rear by the tailgate, I almost did.

This may help with the cost of the hoist. Built my own for about $40. Downside is that it is manual but still one person operation.

I did something similar but also with the a
HARKEN rope lift. One handed lift! Then I have 2 2x4's with ratchet straps to take the weight for the summer
