Switched my front 3.5 inch speakers today. Seem to be working fine. However I disconnected the battery before installing and reconnected it after the install. Now I don’t have my Offroad Pages, can’t change the temperature on the air conditioning, and have lost my back up camera.

Any suggestions?

My first answer would be like step one in troubleshooting a PC. When in doubt reboot. Did you disconnect the battery again to see if that resolves it?

Any type of Tazer or other device attached? Check to ensure you didn't blow any fuses? That's a strange set of symptoms, such they don't seem like they could be linked, but who knows. Hopefully someone with a greater level of expertise will chime in.

What fuses? No Taser or anything of the sort.

it can take upto half a day for this to fix. mine did the same thing exactly, unplugged the battery to install the speakers and the offroad pages stopped for a time. next day on the way to work all was a ok.

Did your CM and back up camera disappear too?

When you dsiconnect the battery, turn the headlight switch on for about 10 minutes to fully drain any residual voltage from the system.

Let the vehicle sit for up to 24 hours. What you are experiencing is 100% normal. The radios in the JL are tightly integrated with the vehicle and need time to learn the vehicle and its functions after a battery disconnect. Patience is key here. Everything will come back after a while. No need to pull fuses or disconnect the battery again.

Thanks guys. We went out to eat some dinner tonight and when we got back to the Jeep, everything had come back to life but the off-road apps. We'll see what happens tomorrow.

On my first disconnect it took about 24 hours for everything to come back.

Everything reset on the way to work this morning. All has returned to normalcy. Took about 12 hours.
