Sway Bar Disconnect Question

Apologies if this has been covered. I was curious if this situation is normal:

When I put my JLU in park, turn it off, and then have it in ACC (accessory) mode it shows the sway bar disconnected. Upon starting the vehicle the display indicates sway bar connected. Does the sway bar actually disconnect every time the vehicle is stopped and shut off?

I don’t know the answer, but the title of your thread refers to the axle disconnect while the photos show sway bar disconnect status. You may get better answers if you change the title.

There is a front axle disconnect, but it doesn’t seem to be what you are asking about.
