Ditto. Bought their one sided clips. Would rather spend the money than to dick around visiting the dealer twice.

I installed the single hook style on my 2018 today, and noticed the plastic base piece the visor pivot attaches to actually moves. Both sides. Not much, but ...
Just me, or all the same ?

Reported. This happened to me within 30k miles so it was under warranty. They told me they replaced the entire sun visor and it just happened again only about a year later after replacement. My warranty just ended and now will have to eat the cost or find another solution. My mom also owns a 2019 Jeep Wrangler JL and this just happened to her passenger side visor. Ridiculous.

Mine just did the same thing. Any resolution? Will they fix this through the warranty or or we going to have to eat the cost? I’ve got just 1500 miles on it

The best fix is a visor clip. Fixes the problem once and for all.

I've had my TACCOM clips for about a year now. No issues. Installed both driver and passenger in under 1/2 hour. A simple, affordable solution to a problem that should have been resolved by the manufacturer a long time ago.

For me, a trip to the dealer, being without my vehicle while they diagnose the issue, waiting for a back order to come in and having to arrange transportation to and from, twice - was just not worth the hassle.

The best fix is a visor clip. Fixes the problem once and for all.

Picked up my 2023 JLRU last week. Have read thru the broken sun visor posts and trying to keep from stating another thread. I have noticed the entire assembly on both mirrors seems way too loose. I have removed the driver side to find the dinky little clips holding the mounting screws. My buddy claims his do not move as much in his 2020. So just wanted to see if anyone else’s move this much?

Btw. I did not know enough at the time to check if they’ve change the design on the flawed hinge design.

Another victim here. I replaced the broken visor ($38.00 bucks & maybe 10 minutes time to replace it) then added these hoping it is a permanent repair. Amazon link
