Subwoofer relocation for 2020 JLU?

I am in the process of ordering a 2020 JLUR and my dealer (MAC Haik in Georgetown, TX) was unable to add the cargo tub liner to the build sheet. He states he believes the Alpine subwoofer is being relocated to this area “as in previous models”... does anyone have any info on this?

Nope, sorry. I order my JLUR on 07/16 and all I got back is that the MY20 has had heritage leather interior changed to dark saddle. I have ordered it with the Alpine stereo system but I have had no other feedback from them. I did go in to the dealership yesterday and they have no additional info for me on the MY20 changes as all product managers are on vacation...... It sounds reasonable though that they move the subwoofer to the cargo hub in order to get more trunk space.

Maybe @Carlton could weigh in if they got premium audio on their 2020. But it sounds like they may be confused with the in floor option for 2 doors and the JKs.

But I’m nearly certain it’s still mounted in the right most rear of the JLU

Good point! The other possibility is that the cargo tub liner cannot be ordered together with the cargo rails, which I also have in my order...

I understand I bought mine on e bay I believe I paid 27.50 . Just so you know there are two different ones same part number but one ends in A and the other ends in B I got B the newest one it is made out of harder rubber the other is made of soft rubber which has a issue of fitting properly do to the softness . Just thought I would give you a heads up !

I have a 2020 JLUR with Alpine. Sub is in the same spot as 19.

I tried to order the tub on my 2020 Rubicon with the Alpine system, but I was denied by the factory. So, my dealer, Criswell, said that they will grab one out of their parts department when it's off-loaded from the car carrier later on today.

IMO, it is better to buy these kinds of accessories aftermarket. Often they can be had at a lower price but also accessories tend to delay order delivery. I have seen people's orders delayed by weeks, and even months across Jeep, Ford, etc
