According to Jeep the box is non-serviceable. Not non user serviceable but non-serviceable at all. I've assumed they changed vendors for the steering box.
If the aluminum was the issue then I would expect to see wear when these people open up the box. If it is flexing rather than wear then I'd...
I seriously doubt the issue is aluminum vs steel. These rolled off the line with the issue. It isn't related to wear. Besides, people with aluminum steering boxes have adjusted it themselves and fixed the issue.
I installed them with the factory isolators. They are only barely ticker than the factory isolators so without them you shouldn't get much if any lift.
Recently decided to replace my lower control arms but my impact wrench is failing to break the nuts loose. This is a 2020 JLUR with 1200 miles so I wouldn't think they'd be seized up like this.
I'm using a Dewalt XR impact wrench. Here is a link for reference...
I have a 2020 JLUR and did not have any issue
I'm not having any issues with my 2020 JLUR and a Pixel 3 or Pixel 4 XL. Did you try different ports? I typically use the port in the center console rather than the dash.
All I did was try to bring some perspective on why the OP(not me) would ask the question that he did. That doesn't mean I think he is right, just that I could see why he would ask the question and why I think he shouldn't be ridiculed.
I did not "imply RPMs can be changed." I explicitly stated...
The Tazer JL does a little more than change tire revs per mile. It changes everything from auto stop/start to fan speeds to engine idle RPM. I don’t think the OP’s question was that outlandish.
Google Maps works fine off line, you can download huge areas of offline maps. I do agree that in the backcountry, Google Maps isn't the best, but neither is the built in nav.
I am aware that nearly every single piece of the suspension could be a contributing factor. What I am trying to say is when we're talking 100% stock Jeeps with less than 200 miles on them having steering play, I have my doubts that the track bar is the top contributor.
I don't think the issue is the track bar personally. Yes, the track bar isn't as beefy as aftermarket but I have a hard time believing it is flexing while turning at speed. I could see it flexing when you are sitting still on concrete and turning the wheel back and forth. There's a lot of...
I have an Aug 2019 built Rubicon w/ Falken Wildpeak M/T and have the same steering play. Tracks straight but has more steering play than other straight axle vehicles I've owned and driven. So far, adjusting tire PSI down to about 33 has helped a little. Judging from the wear on my tires I would...
