Hey all, don’t know if this has been addressed here before but I have a unique situation (I think)!
So this weekend I installed an Alpine KTP-445u amp using the Alpine T-Harness supplied with the Alpine PSS23-WRA system. Got the amp an supplied wiring for $90 and got the T-harness from Pacparts for $43....thanks Varilux! ($1300 for the full PSS23-WRA is a little steep for me). Very simple install and it made a HUGE difference.
So my next step is installing a sub. I haven’t decided on powered or a classic separate sub/amp combo. The Alpine T-Harness has “sub out” wiring pre installed which I could use. If anyone has experiencing using these wires, then please advise.
So, if my T-Harness has allowed me to almost seamlessly tap into the stock wiring, what would be the best way to do the sub wiring?
Sub out wiring and full T-harness for reference:
Would I still be able to tap into the rear speakers for signal, or does the pre-wired sub out wiring circumvent that?
