Stubby bumper ideas ?

Dont want the oem metal stubby bumper , but also dont want to add a winch anytime soon , which alot of aftermarket bumpers have winch holes , looking for ideas or suggestions if you have pictures better

Honestly I've never used my winch for self recovery, but I've used it half a dozen times to recover other people, so that's mostly why I have it.

Many stubby bumpers that are winch-ready come with a decorative steel plate that covers the holes if you don't have a winch. Maybe that's the best way to go? You may not want a winch now, or for a long time, but eventually maybe you will and you'll already have the bumper for it. Just a thought.

I've never seen one that doesn't have a winch mount, I think the market for that is just too small. Everyone wants a winch, or at least the ability to add one later.

If it were me, I'd just get an inexpensive Harbor Freight winch. Even if you'll never use it, at least it looks cool

I haven’t put the winch on yet, but the license plate covers the hole, they also make covers if you don’t intend to put on a winch.
