My wife liked the Sting Gray from the beginning. I had the Orange JKUR and Loved it. After going back and forth to the dealer to try to find the exact model she wanted with the options. We ended up with the Sting Gray. We only had it a week and get compliments all the time.

The color seems to change in different lighting conditions.

So, I have been lurking the forum for a little while, but just joined because I am getting ready to order a 2020 JLU Sport S. Thanks for all the help in that endeavor!

I'm down to the most important decisions: trying to decide between stingray grey or blue. Any comments from Stingray grey owners on how that holds up? Does it shoe scratches or dust more or less than other colors like the blue? Thanks
Absolutely love Stingray Grey!!

I love mine. I'm on Cape Cod where every 3rd car on the street is a Wrangler, and Sting Grey actually isn't one of the common colors I've seen. I've actually seen more Mojito's.

My wife didn't like Sting Grey to begin with but now she really likes it. The only other color she would let me get was the Granite. Now that I own it I love the color and how it changes with light. Being she's my second wife I have learned to listen more!

Sting Grey is a really cool color! I was strongly considering it but my last vehicle for 39 months was silver and the one 36 months before that was white. So, I really wanted to do something different than stay within variations of black and white. I had 2 red Wranglers in the past... 2012 and 2002, so wanted something different. I was also looking at Mojito. Very unique color, but wasn't sure I would still love it a few years down the road.

So... I went with the Ocean Blue and I absolutely love it!!! But... I am still very fond of the Sting Grey. Bottom line... the new JL's look great in ANY color! BTW... color choice was the most difficult option for me.

I get compliments from other Jeep owners, typically with a, "if I could have any other color, it'd be SG". I see a lot of GC around here, rarely see a SG. Like @GreyFox says, it's a creamy gray. I'm a fan, and if you are going to decal, they'll stand out.

Being an old Navy man, I love Sting Grey, it reminds me of the Machinery Gray that we painted our equipment with and is very nostalgic. That said, my wife owns a Ocean Blue JLU Sahara and EVERYBODY loves that Jeep. I just got a free sundae at Sonic just for the Jeep!

You can't go wrong with either color.

I know it's technically not battleship grey, but that's the term I use when describing my Jeep. People visualize it right away:like:

Just chiming in with a sting grey Sport. Went to the dealer wanting bikini pearl. Girlfriend and I liked sting grey and went with it instead. I've always liked the color destroyer grey on a charger.

If it had been my choice, I would have gone with Mojito, however, my this is my wife's and my son's vehicle so they got to pick everything about it and they chose Sting Grey. I have to say, I've had dozens and dozens of vehicles and never have I had more compliments then we've gotten on the the color of this Jeep. Sting Grey looks amazing.

I just recently bought a 2018 in Sting-Gray after having a 2015 blue JK. I can tell you definitively that while the blue looks great, it’s much harder to keep it looking clean. Usually even in good weather conditions, it looked dirty after 3 days on the road. I love my sting-gray JLU. It looks good clean or dirty BUT, it has to get really dirty in order to notice it.
