So, I have been lurking the forum for a little while, but just joined because I am getting ready to order a 2020 JLU Sport S. Thanks for all the help in that endeavor!

I'm down to the most important decisions: trying to decide between stingray grey or blue. Any comments from Stingray grey owners on how that holds up? Does it shoe scratches or dust more or less than other colors like the blue? Thanks
First time Jeep owner here. Talking to my friend at Dealership getting oil change on my Ram and kept looking at this Jeep on Showroom floor. Didn't have the Hard Top Break line showing and asked where is the Hard Top line. He walked over and pressed button and the Roof opened up. The Sky Power Top made that Wild hair stand up and I drove it off floor that day. Now I love having my Jeep. Its Sting-Grey but I call it my Sting Ray. Same color as one. It stays clean and more people look and like the color.

I had Anvil on my JKU I owned for 5 years. It’s similar to Sting Grey. The color was great and stayed very clean. You’d barely be able to tell if I just washed it or if it’s been a month. If Mojito wasn’t a color I’d definitely have went with Sting Grey this time around.
I wish they brought Anvil back. My favorite color of all time!

Sting Gray and Ocean Blue were our top two choices. We chose sting gray for our Sport S (2-door) and have no regrets. My wife and I absolutely love this color. It can look quite different depending on the lighting which we think is cool. We get compliments all the time.

If you are concerned about how clean the Jeep looks between washings, visit a dealership (on a Sunday so you are not bothered by a salesman) and walk through the lot. Look at the tub beneath the hardtop, especially if it rained recently. (We did this a few times before deciding on Sting Gray.) We thought the Bright White and Black Jeeps looked the dirtiest. The Sting Gray and Billet Silver looked the cleanest. The Ocean Blue Jeeps were not as clean as I had expected.

Just my two cents... Pick Sting Gray! :like:

After I found out the only way to get Gobi was in a Gladiator the stinggrey was the only option for me. Love it!

StingGray is the way to go! Love the color and how it looks like a different color in different light. It will show scratches, but more up close. Dust isn’t bad, but you can’t beat when it shines. Wait...can’t beat it when it’s really dirty.

I will confess to hating on the fashionable flat “primer” gray fad of the last few years. Then I saw the Sting Gray and I got it. It has that je ne sais olive color hidden in it and looks great on the JL. I’m a believer.

I have to be honest I was hoping Sting-Gray would be a short-run color like these types of colors were on the JK. I see them everywhere now. There is one that looks exactly like mine at my work! I wish it was a little more exclusive.

The Blue seems to be less popular, which is cool.

Sting-Gray all the way!! Absolutely love the color. As someone mentioned earlier, I was also hoping for Gobi in the JL, but went with Sting-Gray even before the color came out. I ordered it sight unseen and couldn't be happier with my choice.

Agree. I wish it was more unique.
