So I decided not to go with the LED lighting package cause I figured there would be some great aftermarket lighting options available. This is one of the decisions I kinda regret just cause I do like the look of the Mopar LED Headlights. I was constantly getting flashed by other drivers at night with the halogens too.

I almost bought a set but I couldn't bring myself to spend almost $900 on a pair of headlights. I kept eyes on all the lighting forums cause I wanted to know when new 9" LED headlights came out. I ultimately settled on the Oracle Oculus Bi-LEDs and haven't looked back since. These headlights look great, light up the road very well, and they were super easy to install (priced way better than the Mopars too). The cutoff is fantastic on these as well!! I highly recommend them to anyone looking to switch up their stock halogens.

Thanks! You guys made a fine product with an easy install! I have friends who replaced their factory LEDs with these as well.

Hey guys, hope all are well! Been away for awhile. This new way of living has been quite the challenge but we're all making it through.

Anyway wanted to get back to my build and give an update on some other things that have happened here recently.

So my wife always loved driving my Blue Rubi (even though it's stick and she has to use the sidesteps to get in lol). So she went out and did a thing and is now the proud owner of her very own Snazzberry JT Gladiator Rubicon. Meet Gladys! I won't be documenting Gladys' upgrades and additions on here (my wife can do that on the JT forum) but thought it'd be cool to share with everyone!

Stay tuned, got my lift installed on Blue Rubi and getting my new wheels and tires installed on Saturday!

Well, I went to get my wheels & tires installed today and ended up with just a new spare lol. Apparently the manufacturer misdrilled the holes for the valve stems on three of the wheels...this is just my luck 🤨.

The spare looks really nice though lol!

Went with the Fuel Trophy wheels 17/8.5 -6BS:

And the Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac Tires in 315/70-17

Bought everything through Discount Tire which gets me the best price with their lowest price match guarantee and 10% military/veteran discount!

Nice, I went with Fuel Blocks (reverse colours of yours?) and the 35x17 Duratracs E loads. Got about 2500kms on them now. From what I understand they really like to be rotated so I'll be doing mine every 5k-7k (kms, not freedom units)

That looks awesome! That's a nice build you got there!

I went back and forth between the Fuel Trophy and the Anza wheels and ultimately went with the Trophys cause they were able to get them in faster...so I thought lol. I installed the lift already but I'm waiting to post pics until I get the rest of my wheels and tires. Also waiting on new Track bars that should be delivered today.

I've always liked the GW tires and these Duratracs had really good reviews online...all that plus $283 (USD) per tire made the decision for me. We'll see how they do!

Did you get a full size spare? I wasn't able to get my backup camera cover back on with the new wheel? 🤔 Not a big deal but I wasn't expecting this issue.

Thanks for sharing!!

Ya, I love them. Only took a week here in Canada which is basically a world record for delivery. Lol.
Yes, I have full spare. Using Motobilt plate relocate because I have aftermarket rear bumper as well.

Thank you for your service and for choosing Discount Tire @srhoyt1979!

Sorry to hear about the valve holes; I'm confident your local store will get that shorted out quickly for you. If we may be of any assistance from this end, please don't hesitate to shoot us a PM.

They did a good job with the two they could mount but looked like three of the wheels needed to go back. They were very apologetic and showed me as soon as they figured it out so I wasn't sitting there for hours. Wasn't their fault. Its all good, just have to wait a bit longer. Thanks for reaching out!! And thank you for the Veteran's Discount!!

That's great to hear and thank you for the kind words. Looking forward to seeing the complete set bolted up to your rig 😎

Thanks again for your service :flag:

A few install photos. Did everything in my garage with a few jack stands and a floor jack. The hardest part was tightening the bolts for the bump stops 🤔

In all, very happy with how it turned out. Rides really good on the road...curious to see how it does offroad. Ths is my daily driver so I don't get too crazy offroad.

Also got the Synergy Drag Link and Tie Rod but haven't installed them yet.

Might try to find a quiet aftermarket exhaust system/muffler delete too...let me know if anyone has recommendations.

I just got the same lift and trackbars done myself (except with Fox ATS stabilizer). What made you go with the relocation brackets though? I'm dialed in very nice without them and until I saw your post, they weren't on my radar.

Seems like it's optional with only a two inch lift. But I read some other posts and saw some videos on how it's important to maintain the factory angle (geometry) on the axle and control arms if you're staying with the Mopar/Jeep control arms.

I think you're probably okay without them but I just figured the relocation brackets were a pretty cheap addition so why not throw them on there while I have everything torn apart anyway.
