Not for me. Mine has quit recognizing Apple CarPlay just yesterday. Not sure why. Looks like I'm gonna pull fuse F97 and see if that works.
Your radio may act wonky until it reloads everything. It takes more than a couple minutes to do so.

Looks like I got lucky. It ended up being a bluetooth issue w/ my iPhone. Deleting the profile and re-linking it fixed the problem.

Steps:
1. While the vehicle is on and running on the steering wheel, hold down the voice command and green phone buttons for 30 seconds
2. Let go of the buttons and turn the vehicle off
3. Once the uConnect display is completely off (black screen) open the driver door
4. Close the driver door and turn vehicle on and running

I'm trying to reset uConnect because we suddenly have distorted audio from all sources (except for the uConnect's own chime or UI feedback buttons.) I'm in a 2020 Jeep Wrangler Sahara Unlimited.

Anyone able to get these instructions to work? I've held the two buttons for more than 30 seconds, and nothing happens.

I've also tried pressing the hard temperature up and down buttons (on the driver's side) for 30 seconds and nothing happens.

Another video says to press and hold the top right corner of the display (where the passenger temperature is displayed). Nothing happens when I do that, either.

Any other ideas? I found a post about fuse F11. Will that do the trick?

Pull Fuse 97 under the hood for a few minutes. It'll take a while (up to an hour) for everything to reload and go back to normal, but it'll start functioning right away. Things like presets, apps, themes will take longest to get back to normal.

I was having this problem, where I suddenly had terribly distorted audio from all sources (except the uConnects UI feedback sounds). I tried different ways to reset the uConnect, and nothing worked. Fortunately, this morning (about 12 hours later) it sounds fine.

The instructions here did nothing. Maybe they're not meant to do anything; they don't say the display will change or visibly reboot, so maybe it's just a blind process.

These instructions said to remove F11, but I think your advice about F97 actually identifies the right fuse. (I didn't try either.)

Other instructions say to press the temperature up and down buttons simultaneously to access a special menu, and that didn't work, either. (They don't even mention which -- passenger or driver -- temp controls to use.)

And still others say to press the tune and power buttons simultaneously. That didn't work, either.

At this point, I'm wondering why it's so hard to find clear information about resetting the unit.

I have been having trouble with GPS and Apple CarPlay recently. Coming from the tech industry I looked around the internet on how to reset uConnect. Turns out there are many uConnect reset procedures depending on the model. I got off the phone with uConnect this morning and would like to confirm it for the community with this same question.

Steps:
This is like the 10th procedure I have tried and not one had worked.
