Oh man, this was the first thread I checked and having the dynatrac ball joints coming tomorrow, this is super encouraging! I have a mopar lift and am running 35's. Started noticing some mild wobble under very rare circumstances at about 34K miles. I Offroad ALOT. After a fairly decent run...
Not sure why we like to complain about this stuff so much, but at the end of the day, 99.9% of the time these places do a pretty damn good job. Patience is key. You may get lucky and get the right person, giving the right attention to your particular situation first try.
More than likely, you...
I thought I wanted a 392, and would definitely take one all else being the same. Being a previous rider of a Ducati Mutistrada, and other bikes, there are WAY faster things available, and other than the sound and speed over regular Wrangler, the almost 500hp is no help on the trails.
Not worth...
I would think what you already did is going to be sufficient to make sure it doesn't get worse. I wouldn't bother trying to be an amateur body shop paint expert. Most likely scenario is you end up making it worse or being aggravated your fix is more noticeable than the original chip.
Do what...
I just noticed this on my 2020 a couple weeks ago. I did a quick google search and seems corrosion is covered to 5 yrs. I definitely will be asking about that next week!
Yeah, you are going to have to add enough paint to start filling the chip and wet sand/polishing compound as you go. I get the OCD thing, but if you can let it go and try not to dwell on it. Just leave it as is. I guarantee something worse will happen someday and learning to live with a...
I just did the same thing. I used the innovative at products mount and if I had all the tools it could have been done in about 30 minutes without removing batteries, fender or seat fully. Having the ac on floor setting is great, keeps it nice an cool!
I would bet they charge you for having to deal with it, if its easy I would remove it. Would also remove the possibility one tech removes it then after buttoning everything up its laying on a shelf somewhere, or they strip bolts using an impact wrench etc.
another vote for Bartact, ive had them on for a bit over 2 years with 2 100 lb dogs and not a single rip/tear, and they clean up like new with a spray down and wipe. I also have full set, and as they were pricy, but website has the ones I have, the highest option for a bit over 800 for the full...
The problem you are going to want to solve is how to make a single electric drop cable to connect to lifting mechanisms suited to a jeep top, snowblower, kayak, etc. each of those are going to require significantly different lifting mechanisms. I would put the electric lift on a track to move...
Just installed these on my Rubicon with 12.5 " wide tires. Install is very easy, but damn the Poly rivet guns are garbage. I immediately got one jammed and was unable to recover the peg so it wasnt working, thankfully there was another cheap version at Oreilly's I was able to pick up and make...
