I have Gorhino E1 power steps on my JLU and they work great. My wife loves them but I do as well. Not for rock crawling though. I think they may have been bought out by Rough Country now since they look similar. Just over $1K on Amazon if you want to check them out. Take about an afternoon to install, but just bolt right up.

I have N-Fab rock sliders with detachable steps. The steps are low enough for my short wife to use getting in and out and they are removable for offroading.

i bought this for $12.99 on amazon for my dad. works very well!
it’s not nearly as much fun but installation is quicker, easier and cheaper. i’m guessing it’ll probably outlast anything using electrons

My 4’10” wife is 70 and able to climb in and out of the back seat of our lifted 2-door Rubicon, she credits her yoga classes with keeping her strong and flexible enough to do this. Rock rail steps and grab handles were added to assist.
If your wife can't do it, get her a gym membership.
I don't begrudge anyone their stature or physical makeup, but I believe that remaining physically strong and agile should be everyone's priority as they age.

I got the wider rock rail put on my Jeep when I ordered it, thinking it might be used as a step if needed. Unfortunately it's just a bit too narrow for my paddle-shaped feet.

And I bought a three story house at age 58 near a ski resort. On purpose. (We've got a storm coming in tomorrow afternoon and I'm hoping to get up to the mountain in the morning while visibility is good.)
