The 2.0 is plenty of power. The horsepower and tourqe numbers are way under rated. Average around 21 mpg local so far.
Cool deal. I haven't driven a 2.0 without the ETorque and I've just been wondering how it does without that electric assist negating the turbo lag. Seems like you have no complaints so I'll take that as a good sign. lol

And I seriously hope the 2.7 in that Bronco doesn't give you too much trouble. Its a great motor when it isn't broken. At work we've had to replace two of them in the past few months.

I just can’t handle how often the Bronco’s I’ve wheeled with are up on 3 wheels. They call it 4wheeling for a reason people. One guy even said that at the Bronco ā€œoff rodeoā€ they even talk about lifting a wheel like it’s almost a feature rather than a flaw.

that being said, if I was into driving dirt roads for a living. You know, the type my old Crosstrek could negotiate, and wanted to go fast…Bronco would be on my list, in the #2 spot, right after a 4Runner.
Everything lifts a wheel to a certain extent even Jeeps. Sure the Bronco lifts a little bit higher but it doesn't stop it from competing the obstacles. Comparing a Bronco especially with the Sasquatch package to a Subaru Crosstrek is just ridiculous. You can love Jeep more but come on man let's be real. Lol.

Gonna second @JeepViking13 with the three wheeling. I have a Rubi suspension and disconnecting sway bar installed on my Jeep. She's been on 3 wheels a number of times. Its just that it happens sooner with IFS...

The 2.7 issue was a temporary issue with valves during Covid-19 from a 3rd party supplier that Ford usually didn't go with. Alot of Broncos were built during that time and ended up sitting waiting for chips. Some of those Broncos finally started arriving to there owners this year.

That issue was addressed and fixed already. My Bronco was just built August 1st 2022 and I just picked it up on Friday. So my 2.7 is good to go.

Yes. So I went to the Bronco off rodeo, they didn't treat it as a "feature," but more so they acknowledged that IFS will be on 3 wheels more often, so they explain how the Bronco was designed to handle it differently. I can't tell you how many times I've been up on 3 wheels in my bronco and you just can't tell, it's so well balanced and it continues moving forward.

There are other issues that might spring up... It wasn't the valves with our F-150s.

Just saying, I hope it doesn't give you any issues.

Yeah I hope neither of my vehicles give me any issues. Never fun when that happens.

Its a good thing for me is my trade in value on my Bronco is worth $13k more then what I paid. They're not easy to get.

Good. But remember trade in values are only as good as the day and the place you cash it in.

Yeah. But this is a complete reversal from what Ford was saying only a few months ago...when it was telling everyone that it was moving away from stocking dealer inventories to a system of 100% custom orders.

If nothing else, it only proves that Ford will say one thing one day, and do the exact opposite the next.

Yeah, You can say you're going to do something and then reality bites back. Sucks for the bronco hopefuls, but us Jeepers aren't going to be affected.

Go back and re-read. It wasn’t a comparison. I said that a Bronco can ride fast on rutted out roads my crosstrek could probably navigate. You’re not going to do 60 down Pritchett Canyon in a Bronco, but you might fly down parts of long canyon (if you were alone and not worried about hitting someone in oncoming traffic).

Never did I write that Crosstrek and Bronco are equally capable, nor really even directly compare the two.

ā€˜Twas merely a way of saying that the type of 4wheeling that the Bronco appears built to excel at, just happens to not be the type that interests me. I don’t care to fly down a washboard road, I like to crawl obstacles. Bronco just isn’t going to be as capable at that as Wrangler (hence my choice of vehicle). I could afford both, but I don’t see a place for Bronco in my garage. Me personally, I’d get a 4Runner to do a Bronco’s work. But I don’t have one of those either, nor do I plan to.

My wife thinks the 2dr Bronco is cute as a button though, and she’d buy one if it was proven reliable. So maybe there’s one in my future.

No doubt. Its actually a dilemma I'm having with myself. Sell it and make the profit now. Or keep it and make YouTube content with both vehicles. It's also not easy to wait for a vehicle for over 2 years and then finally get it just to let it go. Especially something like the Bronco.
