LOL At least Stellantis is not cooking the books by parking thousands of unsold cars in empty lots across the country in order to artificially boost their stock like TESLA is doing.
That is fraud on a level never seen before, but thankfully for him this country does not punish fraud by the upper class or people with connections.
Not sure how this has anything to do with my post or the topic of the thread. To me, the entire car market is going down the gutter, not just Stellantis. This was the primary factor in my decision to order a new JLU last month.

That said, I am not sure that your reaction to my post is rational. Stellantis is trying to charge $40k just to upgrade a Rubicon to a V8. That is insane, but Stellantis isn't the only one that's doing it. Toyota marked up their new TRD Pros by something like $15k. So I am not just picking on Stellantis; just pointing out that there COULD be other factors at play here.

The Wrangler is honestly one of the only new vehicles that I actually still like. The rest is garbage.

US stocks are now down another 4.5%. That's about 9% in two days. Viet Nam has offered to reduce tariffs on US goods to zero if the US lifts the new tariffs. Markets are ignoring this good news.

Now we have somebody who doesn’t need those donors and the scavengers are stirring up populist chaos to try and stop him from leveling the playing field.
Who, exactly, doesn't need those donors? Are you thinking Elon Musk didn't buy his position by donating?

Just as Canada was about to put a pause in their EV rebates the weekend before Tesla reported 8,600 new sales in 3 days so frauds not really out of character for them.
I haven't heard anything else about the supposed Tesla 8,600 other than the initial news frenzy from 3 weeks ago, that is a long time considering the urgent need to sling mud at the once golden child of Canadian climate emergency scheme.

Sounds like the Canadian governments probably doing what they do best, peddling propaganda.

Probably hurting the government officials more than it has been hurting the taxpayers, that they have to pay out those rebates now, they were constantly reminding us the planet will die without these rebates.

It's sad that an otherwise good car company will be taken down by a ketamine addict.

You’re welcome to offer cite 30 years of media experience as some kind of bulletproof credential of expertise but prior to my retirement my career was in that field for about five years more than that and I find your assessment questionable at best.

Point being, it makes for a weak argument to claim some kind of exclusive insight when it’s really not so exclusive, let alone verifiable. Heck, both of us could be very well trained chimpanzees pounding out posts in between trying to write Shakespeare in a room with a thousand other chimps. Just sayin’.
You don’t need to take my word for it that the media gaslights the public, you can verify it yourself.

Exhibit A: Walter Cronkite was liberal as hell, but he was smart enough to know that he needed to report fairly.

Dan Rather forgot that rule. He was the beginning of the downfall of media credibility. He was so hell bent on going after George Bush that he used obviously falsified papers. He left in disgrace after being outed by 3 attorneys that ran a little known blog. He instantly became the Adam Schiff of “Russia, Russia, Russia”. (Exhibit B)

The media pushed both of those stories endlessly, until they couldn’t. The people started realizing that they were being lied to on both sides of the aisle.

I could site many more stories just like these two before orange man even came down the golden elevator, and a lot after. The media has no one else except themselves to blame.

I don't think Trump needs the money but without digging into the matter to confirm it, it wouldn't surprise me if Musk was able to find favor from his donations and get Trump's ear to work out an agreement to work on the streamlining of .gov. Trump appears to be using whatever resources are available to get the job done and Musk looks like a top source for advice on streamlining.
Trump also has had meetings with Zuckerburg and other big business owners to form alliances of some sort.

Annnd, we outed one.

Point out the propaganda

One? Someone that can read? That kind of one.

You spew debunked propaganda, really old, stupid debunked propaganda. Debunked by even the liberal media.

29% for a reason. Apparently, the percentage of the public with single digit IQs....

I had forgotten about the MTBE-in-the-water issue down there in SoCal with the brain cancer and all that...

Trump may or may not be in financial distress, regardless of that I simply cannot understand the logic that lends so many people to believe that it is nigh impossible that someone who spend so much time and effort to amass incredulous fortunes would be a greedy person.
