Just contacted my local dealer today and they told me to leave her with them for a couple days... Going out of town in next two weeks so we shall see.
They said takata airbag recall and steering damper.
BS part is said it might get some in the week and a half I leave it with them.

Takata airbag recall on the JL?? I've not heard about that. That's a JK issue, so they might be confused.

What I thought but still ba it might or might not be done.
Let us know what they say about that. I'm guessing they misspoke because they've done MANY JK's, including mine.

The drag link and track bar are too light on the JL. Replace these and make make sure your ball joints are torqued to spec and your wobble will go away. A better steer stabilizer will help but it only masks the true issue. You can wait on Jeep to figure it out, almost a year and a half and they still keep trying to replace the steering stabilizer donā€™t hold your breath. When the weather starts cooling down there will be many more people complaining about steering wobble.

Those things are important and can contribute to a cure for death wobble, but the old steering stabilizers were defective or were faulty designs. No way should a steering stabilizer wear out in less than a hundred thousand miles. Heck, I think they should go 200k. They take a tiny fraction of the abuse that a shock absorber takes, so they should hold up much longer.

Solid axle front suspensions are notorious for shake or wobble when something is even slightly off. If they weren't, there would be no need for a steering stabilizer in the first place. It is there for a reason. In many cases, it can be an appropriate fix for steering wheel shimmy. However, death wobble is a whole different animal, and is a deeper issue, as you've pointed out. Most of the JL's are experiencing a shake or shimmy, not full blown death wobble.

Hey guys, Iā€™m currently fighting to get my 2018 Wrangler Sahara fixed. Same symptoms with hitting certain bumps on the highway will cause my steering wheel to shake. My dealer has rebalanced my wheels and tires, which slightly helped. Iā€™m on my 3rd damper. My dealer had my Jeep for over a week and that was all they could come up with. They supposedly were dealing with an engineer as well. They then said they drove a brand new one and that supposedly drives the same and said it normal. I am absolutely livid. Jeep Careā€™s is no help either. I have an appointment at a different dealership next week.

Spend a $145 bucks on a Fox dampener. I went through three of them and the Fox cured it.

I feel your pain Steve. My 2018 stock Sahara is on its 4th stabilizer (original + 3 replacements). Currently at 15,000 miles. I love my Jeep but this is ridiculous. The service manager does a good job getting me in and out in an hour or so, and arranges other services at the same time (oil change, wheel rotation etc.).

Thinking about exploring lemon law due to all of the other potential issues that may be going on and wearing out as described on this and other threads. Has anybody else been successful in pursuing a buy-back for a simple but aggravating issue like this? My wife was with me during my last death wobble experience that prompted this replacement and she was very concerned.

My steering issues still persisting after 3 steering damper replacements, and a driver side shock absorber replaced and ā€œre-tightening boltsā€.

This video shows steering wobble 3 weeks after the V41 recall was performed. 5 visits within 22,545 miles for a never ending issue.

After reading on this forum I have found that the updated steering damper has been installed incorrectly. My vehicle has been completely stock through owning it. I was contemplating on the possibility of a buy back or going through the lemon law but have no more patience to deal with this issue. Iā€™m seriously contemplating on getting rid of it by getting something else.
