I got to my steering box, and can get the nut to move, but the inner hex will not budget from the nut. Anyone had this issue? Best way to go about this? A pipe is in the way, so I cant get good leverage. I torched it, but no luck.

Have you considered replacing it with a steel/black steering box? This resolved my issues.

Get a good quality 3/8 drive 4mm or 5/32 socket hex key I believe 5/32 will need to be tapped in with a hammer . Put the socket on a long extension loosen the lock nut and you should have no problem getting it to turn.

Im not sure you saw the picture, but lot of stuff in the way.
Multiple things and hoses in the way. Would be an all day project! My disability prevents me from wrenching too hard (heart transplant).

Hopefully you know what you are doing by adjusting that because you can make it too tight and wear out the gear. I had the same problem, to loosen the alan head screw get the proper alan wrench and hit the tip with a torch. Get it nice and hot and then stick it in the alan head. Do this repeatedly about 3 times and tap it with a hammer. This will soften the locktite that is keeping you from turning it. It will still resist but will now turn. As others have noted I would def get the cast iron box.

Ill give it a try! I have 38s, so standing on a bucket is difficult to get any amount of torque haha!
