Tightening jam nuts

Quick little photo showing one way to tighten control arm jam nuts and the torque outcome. You could easily do this with a breaker bar, but the point of the tq wrench was to see how much tq was applied using this long of a lever at a given amount of effort. I put on 300+ ft lbs on the gauge with only moderate effort using one arm. Plastic and wood wedges (cut in half lengthwise) between joints and bracket to reduce flex. Effective length of the tq wrench was 43 inches + a couple for the crowfoot.
