Mine is in right now...of all the "suggested" services was ~$350 for a "software update"... the description was so vague....of course I did decline it

Still no official notice since the vehicle was just purchased ~ 3 weeks ago. I did already call the local dealer. They told me not to bring it in, as they have no parts if it is affected. If it DOES require work they're required to impound it as unsafe to drive. I asked under what authority they can seize a vehicle and it got rather quiet from the other end. She told me, "call back in September, park away from things the best you can".

Now, me being me, I had to of course crawl under there and take a look. I've done more than my fair share of electromechanical work. From what I can see after reading (thanks @Bryce919er )post #26, I think I'm all good. It's still getting parked out on the end of the driveway until it gets the blessing from the only opinion that really matters. Mopars'.
