This is a known issue. Jeep won’t admit it. I got a tech to hear the issue. We all have the same issue. Car play static / popping / clipping. It starts after 15 or so min of the jeep running. And it goes away after like 30 min. Depending on your individual unit. That leads me to believe something is overheating. Anyway, if you sit in the jeep with the tech and leave it running for 20 min. THEY WILL HEAR IT. you point it out. It’s clear as day and it’s a problem. You pay for these features to work properly.. the other issue is , when they replace it, they replace it with a refurbished unit. The one they replaced for me ended up being worse. There has to be a way to actually fix this. Please don’t let this issue die. Someone out there needs to take these head units apart. I’m thinking about doing it myself. But I don’t know what to look for.
