The interior of my parked Jeep was an oven in our 110+ summer. The physical install was an easy 10 minute job. The programing was a little more challenging, but if you follow the installation notes TO THE LETTER, you'll have no problems.

CONs:
PROs:
- At $160 it's way cheaper than the OEM option. When I bought my 2021, you had to buy remote-proximity + remote start ($1,000+ all told)
- Easy install
- Anti-theft feature (if brake is depressed without the key fob present, the engine is killed)
- Switches engine off after a pre-determined (and adjustable) period if you let it sit idling too long.
CONs:
- Range is "only" 200-300 feet (as far as your fob works now). Is the OEM's range further?
- Won't be valued at resale, while the OEM version will, to some extent.
- No confirmation that the vehicle has actually started. [unless you hear the three beeps in the distance]. In all fairness, the OEM version may have the same issue
- You need Internet Explorer to program. [that can be easily downloaded for the occasion]
