Not sure if anyone ever found a fix, I advised my dealer on the situation, which has one that they installed on their lot that has driver side bow. The call the Mopar techs and have determined that the gray spring seats are not to be used, you use the original ones, he said it states it on the last page of the instructions, I have not looked at it myself. They are going to fix the one they have on their lot to see if it corrects, then I will install my lift that is on hold now.
It's a weird one, Step 20 says to reuse the locator collars, however their is a page just before that saying use the new gray ones.

Even in an earlier step upon removing those location collars it says to retain them.
Makes me feel better about that one guy reusing his stock ones. If the books not clear about it then it must not matter.

Please keep us posted on that. I have all my old parts, so if the issue is in those seats, it should be an easy swap.

already tried that
Ok, so that is ruled out.

IF it is a problem, then it just may take them a little time to figure it out, once they've begun inspecting them and trying different things.

the inconsistency is more concerning. so they say a bow is normal. so the straight ones are the problem?

Both black and gray perches have the SAME identical part #. So, I don’t know how there could be any difference between the two other than color. If there were, the part #’s would be different. I prefer the black as it is blends in. Respectfully, I think that was a good call by my tech of over 25 years, who has installed tons of lift kits over that span. I understand your logic, but disagree. There are many people that become masters of their respective trade. But we can agree to disagree :)
I agree Paul, Part number is part number and black on black is a better look. As far as the "Master Tech" negativity, if a auto mechanic has numerous years at the trade with all the certifications to support that title he should by all means use it and be proud of it. I worked my ass off in college to obtain a Masters degree and every 2 years I take classes to keep up with the latest technology. They are CEU's or Continuing Education Credits. Lastly to JLBuyer, I would like to see my "bigfoot" since I am a Water and Environmental Technician with a Masters Degree...Makes me a Master Tech...LOL..BTW, Love the Jeep and can't wait for mine

I am no expert, but maybe the track bar has something to do with it (how it's set from the factory)? Case in point, for whatever reason, my two springs are bowed equally without one being straighter than the other. Did I get lucky, is my track bar slightly set different from the factory than other? Who knows. Just food for thought.

Someone put an adjustable trac bar on and it didn’t solve it, so ruled that out.

Also some people may think it is caused by using the grey spring seats, I have the grey seats and no bow. So that doesn’t make sense either.

I have a feeling mopar will be sending out some new springs, probably tried to keep them soft for ride quality and ended up going too soft?

That could fix the bow issue, BUT will that then make the ride quality suffer? I am 100% happy with how my rig rides and fear that if the springs were straight, then that would mean the spring rate would be stiffer. Personally, I don't want that and if Mopar did indeed engineer the springs to have a little bow to ensure ride quality isn't compromised, then asking for anything else is trouble in my humble opinion. Aesthetically, I don't give a rats arse that my springs have a slight, equal bow. If they are functioning as intended, which it appears they are, then I could care less about how a slightly bowed spring looks. Like my dad always said, "when was the last time you looked so good in your vehicle at a stop light, that someone came over and wrote you a check for you next payment". Again, initially it appears to me that this is engineering 101. The Mopar lift has longer, soft springs. Therefore, a little bow is not only expected but intentional. This viewpoint has been shared equally among many reputable, experienced Jeep experts that I have communicated with. Not one single person I have talked to, and lord knows I have talked to many, has said that the springs should be straight. Therefore, I no longer worry at all about the slight bow and am driving my Jeep like I stole it. To this point, not one single issue and it drives very similar to stock. New, 'straight' springs with a stiffer rate and harsher ride just for looks? No thanks :)

thats what ive been trying to get since early last week. dealers tech that installs all the lifts even agreed with me. mopar has no springs or kits to replace it with currently and they advised the dealer to grind down the spring isolator. i told the dealer not to and not to touch it because i knew it wouldnt fix it and they did it anyways. still no fix.
Hell no! You paid for a "NEW" lift, not one that gets chopped up. Wait until they have the parts and request new ones. I do believe they might have had a problem because they are on backorder, so wait.
