I believe I need a spare tire reloction bracket. I have upgraded my tires to 33's now my Park Sensor randomly turns off. I was thinking the Rough Country non park sence bracket since it will give roughly a 2" raise to the spare and its not a 35" tire. Has anyone raised the spare tire because of a Park Sensor issue with 33's?

No, but did raise for 35’s. I am responding to warn you the RC plate is ~13-15 lbs that your hinges don’t need, It was wasted money and in the garage. I used Teraflex featherweight aluminum relocation brackets that also come with a spare snubber spacer kit. ~$150, you get what you pay for.

Good point. The RC that raises the tire 2 inches may be less weight. However I will check Terraflex.

Nope- 2” RC 13-15 lbs. Teraflex featherweight, easy install, I didn’t even unplug the wires per instructions. Just set the stock carrier on a trash can. Removed the ugly rear view blocking 3’rd brake light and used a PNP QT light ring…. The RC plate doesn’t include the snubber extension kit either.

That is what I'm leaning towards. I like the weight and zero cutting of the vent. Since my tires are only 33's I think the third brake light can be raised. Thank you, great info.

You can move it up to the next screw hole and just use the one if even needed with 33’s, but you may have to separate it and move the wire per instructions.

I think the wire definitely needs to be be loosened like the instructions stated. It's a 2 inch lift I beleive I read so that will be more than enough. My tire currently clears the bumper cut out.

I'm thinking this is exactly what I need rather than the terraflex tire mount kit.

I'm on stock ko2 33s with 23lbs wheels. May go to 35s but that would be my limit.

My 17x8.5 wheels have a -1 offset so I'm just trying to get some adjustment for the offset since the spare is hanging off the back about an inch and a half farther out.

Can you get rid of the oem 3rd brake light with this kit? Need to relocate license plate to spare and was going to install ORO third brake light/license plate lite
Would make sense to have 4 rear lights.

If you are referring to the Teraflex bracket kit it will do the opposite of what you want. I am presently running it to lift my 35’s 2 in, the brackets also put the spare out 1.35 in. It works good with the stock 7.5”/44mm wheels, but if I go the 8.5”/1mm I’m considering the adjustable one will likely be needed to tuck the tire back to eliminate camera-sensor issues/false warnings per reports. The Teraflex adjustable comes with a center 3’rd brake light mount but not a license plate mount. With the brackets I use a QT PNP light ring.
