TL;DR: Has anyone ever mounted a spare tire hoist (like they have under the tail of pickup trucks and other SUV's) on their tire carrier to help lift a spare? Something similar to this, maybe:

They had a feature in Jp Mag years ago where one of the editors had 37's on his JK and he used an ATV Winch to lift the tire (due to a motocross injury), then he would jockey it into position once it was close. That's expensive and requires extra power, But I was thinking maybe one of the hoists like this would be easier and more simple.

The 37's on my JLUR are HEAVY even when I'm healthy, but a recent shoulder injury has had me thinking about this concept a lot more.

Thoughts? Thanks in advance.
While recovering from a shoulder injury this is what I was doing (dog ramp + hitch step)
