I have a 2018 Jeep Wrangler sahara jl. I just purchased fuel assault wheels 20x9 with fuel gripper AT 305x55 tires, I want to know if I can install the spare tire on the factory spare tire carrier. If not, which spare tire carrier should I purchase that is stable and recommended

That's only a 1/2" taller and 3/4" wider than a stock Rubicon tire. Jeep claims the factory tire holder will fit 35's. I say grab your wrench extend the third brake light up and slap that tire on the back.

YUP, the tire will fit easy, but

You don't mention what the Back Space is---so the stock BUMPSTOPS probably won't work--

You'll have to get EXTENDED bump stops, or add material for the WIN !

Good luck

Retired from Corrections....I have stories.
I have a 37 in tire on beadlock wheel mounted on the stock back tailgate. You may have to extend the tire isolators. This is easy to do. I used three hockey pucks, drilled holes through them. I pulled the stock isolators out of the tailgate, cut the rubber nub off. Then ran a 5 inch bolt through the isolator and through the hockey pucks Put a well nut on the bolt and then attached it to the tail gate. It is very solid and does not move around. You may not have to do any of this. I am just saying. It may not be necessary to buy all that other stuff. I will add a different bumper/tire carrier as soon as the one I want is released.

The back space is about zero,

the offset is practically zero, I was thinking about the mopar tire carrier kit because the tire might be too heavy for the stock carrier

NOPE that's not right--they don't MFG an auto wheel with "0" BS, only ATVs and lawnmowers--

If the offset is "0" then the wheel mounting surface is at the CTR of the wheel, which will give a BS of 4.5" on a NINE INCH WIDE WHEEL !

Actually, that is incorrect. a 0 offset wheel on a 9 inch rim is actually a 5" backspace. when you measure wheel width, you are measuring inside the wheel where the tire sits. Backspacing accounts for the inner portion of the rim.

a Negative 12/13 would have a 4.5" Backspace

Here is a sample pic of offset vs backspacing.

So can my new wheel and tire combo (20x9 fuel assaults with 305x55 tire fuel gripper at) fit on the stock tire carrier with no issues? I was thinking about purchasing the mopar mounting bracket if needed.

Thanx Mojito JLUR--crap I forgot about the mounting diff.--4.5 to 5" BS is probably OK for Fzaino1 wheel--

I told him to try the sp-atre anyway to MEASURE THE BUMPSTOP DIFF.-

Have a great day-
