Spare Tire Carrier Advice Needed

I just installed a spare tire carrier for my bumper that attaches to the bumper and the tailgate. My concern is : Seems the Spare 37" tire I am using vibrates a lot up and down even though it is mounted to the tailgate and to the bumper. I was thinking a bump stop for the tailgate would help but the Spare is about 7 inches away from the tailgate. What I am concerned about is over time the bolts with actually break and i will lose my spare tire on the highway. Does this seem rational or am I just being paranoid? It just seems like if I stand behind the tire i can rock it up and down from the 12 to 6 o clock position. I didn;t really expect any movement and that Is why I purchased this setup. Any thoughts or opinions greatly appreciated. This is my setup!

That's just it! I can't believe that thing would actually move it all. You use the factory bolt plate and put it behind the welded circle plate on the carrier. I sure hope it is not the 3 bolts that are bending? I didn't know if anyone else experienced this with a setup like this?

What brand is it? Have you asked the maker? I have a CavFab Elite and its rock solid, I can literally stand on my spare and it isnt tied into the bumper at all.

looking at that its barely tied to the gate which is probably why it bounces like crazy need more pics or the company you got it from to give more help.

It's made by Hammerhead in Bay Springs Mississippi. I followed installation instructions . I am wondering if I am actually moving the lug bolts up and down when rocking the tire. The OEM lug bolts pass through there steel round plate. The way that is setup kinda concerns me cause the factory lug nuts are only mounted to a flimsy metal plate that I think is bendable by hand. Am I wrong?

Post pics of it installed on you Jeep from several angles unless you just want speculation and wild guesses. Probably with the tire on and off the carrier. That way you get some real answers.

Good idea! I will try to call them in the am and take some pictures for the board if they can't help me tweak it! The company is 3 hrs from me and if I have to ride there, I will. Rather fix it than lose my new tire and rim.
