I've done some searching, but most discussions I found here were from a good while ago. (I also know some ppl don't like these. That's a respectable opinion. I'm not telling anyone to get one for themselves.)

Stock Rubicon
Will the splice-in JK versions fit a JL? (With maybe just some drilling for the camera.)
The Plug and Play JK versions do not fit the JL, correct?

If you like these, do you have any recommendations?
If you don't/didn't like yours for reasons other than aesthetics, why?

Thanks!

Intersted in these to since I have a tire carrier that will be going on and I’ll be losing the factory 3rd brake light.
This is the one I’ve been looking at don’t know how well it will work but
SUPAREE 3-Side Spare Tire Brake Light, 400PCs LED Wheel Light, Plug-N-Play 3rd Third Brake Light Compatible with Jeep Wrangler 2018 2019 2020 Wrangler JL JLU, Bright Red Light https://a.co/d/26pevq7

damn it went up 10 dollars since I last checked.

When I installed my CavFab carrier I installed a brake ring because the OEM brackets would no longer fit. I plan to fab a bracket to reinstall my 3rd brake light, but will leave the ring active as well.

This one was 100% plug and play and it has the connections to reinstall the OEM 3rd light:

Definitely interested in the new 3rd light bracket you make, since this is the same tire carrier I’ll be running would love to be able keep the stock 3rd brake light and add the ring to spare tire.
I never feel you can have to many brake lights.
