Um, doesn't answer the question.............., but I'm terrified to see what took the other half.
C’mon- don’t play dumb, you know the contest was who could pick-up the fattest-ugliest girls and bring them back to the party. ~ 55 years ago , so to make penance with the ladies I give them my closing words this timeUm, doesn't answer the question.............., but I'm terrified to see what took the other half.
Shouldn’t talk of skating be in the off topic lounge? So I’m just curious here my reason for driving Jeep because I love solid for an accident. I don’t have to worry about it breaking Tyrod or anything else. The only other thing I can think of that has a solid fun or the grenadier’s which I rented and drove one in Montana and it was a pretty awesome truck so tell me everybody which of the IFS trucks and SUVs bronco forerunner Land Cruiser, Ford, and Chevy and Dodge makes the strongest IFS
Exactly! That's why I would never take off the ends of the factory steel bumper or install a custom bumper that leaves the wheels fully exposed. Imagine surviving the hardest rock crawling and then getting destroyed by some granny in her corolla at 25 mph.All it takes is a hit to a front wheel from another vehicle. It's just an unfortunate fact of life.
There's about 4 - 6mm bolts holding on the steel bumper ends. I doubt they would hold back a granny in a corollaExactly! Interesting- when my 95 Dodge Ram 2500 was just a few months old a gal in a Buick ran a red and I T-boned her big time. I needed a new bumper, she needed a new Buick. Had she come from the other direction with her on the impact side I shudder to think. There's about 4 - 6mm bolts holding on the steel bumper ends. I doubt they would hold back a granny in a corolla
A former coworker was a volunteer fireman and responded to a lot of accidents. He said Dodge (before they were Ram) trucks usually had their front axle knock out from underneath compared to IFS Chevy and Ford trucks. He said the shackles broke where the leaf springs were bolted.
Not only did you read it, you went above and beyond and posted. Way to give 110%I can't believe I wasted the time to read all of this......
I'm sure it would be much less damage than direct impact to the wheel. There's about 4 - 6mm bolts holding on the steel bumper ends. I doubt they would hold back a granny in a corolla

I hope we never find out if it makes a difference. My mom had a 48 Willys. That thing could give a hit with its bumpers, and sustain virtually no damage.I'm sure it would be much less damage than direct impact to the wheel.
