Thanks everyone! I don’t believe it’s a flaw with the Jeep. I believe it’s my own user error. Cold freezes stuff. I wasn’t thinking. Taped for now and I’ll figure out what to do. It didn’t ruin the trip AT ALL!

I know this is well after the fact, but there's a rear window for sale on eBay:

May be an option if your soft top material is black diamond. Best of luck and enjoy Moab!

You'll be fine without the back window. Crank the heat wear a jacket you might get snow in ur face but you will not be cold.

I ran a tj without the back window through a Detroit winter the entire year before I could finally afford a new top. Daily driven 45 minutes one way 5 days a week...-temps i was fine...blast that heat!

Sailcloth is understood to mean the regular soft top material, and acrylic fabric the premium top. What is "black diamond" supposed to represent?
FCA uses the term Black Diamond in lieu of Sailcloth now, at least for the JL series. It threw me for a loop the first time I saw it too.

Agree about removing the back window on TJ and CJ...I did that for years in both models. However, I would NOT recommend doing so with the JL, as the rear window is integral in keeping the sides in place. There are several (long) threads about this in the forum, and the likelihood of side windows blowing out is almost assured, especially at highway speeds.

Whoa really?! That's terrible! Confirmed I need to buy a new top then XD

I'd love a mytop with the sides not having windows just panel.
