Soft top question - windows removable?

Was looking at the best top super top square back. We like the ability to keep the “roof” on but remove all windows like the picture below.

Does the mopar soft top have the same function? Keep the roof on and remove windows? Picture?

i was sold on getting the best top, but found a handful of used (never used or almost new) tops on marketplace for 600-800

Yep thats called safari mode and the best one there is. Pull out the rear window then the 2 sides. Door removal optional

Sadly, everything will be put on Tuesday evening with multiple days of raining coming then a week long trip.

Safari mode is cool, but you need to find a place to store the side and back windows. In the desert you can just leave ‘em at home. Here on the gulf coast we get random hard rains once. Week with no warning, so I need to keep the windows in the car with me. So I rarely take them off.

the sunrider mode is amazing, lots of open air, it’s just not that much better with the windows off in my opinion to justify the risk and hassle.

so, depends a lot on your climate and the risk of random rain showers While you are inside buying groceries.

In the picture I posted, there's a JK window bag hanging on the wall. It does require folding the back panel but as someone mentioned in another forum thread around 2019, place two pool noodles in the fold to prevent damage.

I did get caught in a downpour 2 years ago. Unfortunately, I was on the freeway during rush hour with no place to pull over and I had the top completely down. Not fun!

Just an update. I ended up getting a mopar top off another 2024 for $700. They bought the jeep new but didnt want the soft top so lucky me. Now I just need May to come around.

I have a neighbor and his son had an older Jeep with no top. That's his ride no matter the weather and it gets cleaned frequently with all the rain. That would come in handy though I doubt he has working a/c for summer.

Wranglers can get cold. I once had a Miata and due to it's small "cabin" design and airflow, I frequently commuted 60+ highway miles into work with the top down in the 50s (Texas native, anything under 70 is cool) with just a light jacket. The heater would keep me warm.
