Looking for advice with 2019 jlu soft top installation. I have dual top and a hoist in garage. Getting the hard top off and on is easy. Getting the soft top on alone is almost impossible for me. Anyone know of any tricks, I know there are tons of products for the hardtop but never found anything for the soft top. My wife and kids Are too small to help…thank you

I am able to put mine on by myself, but it isn't easy. I put the door surrounds on and mount the brackets on the sport bar in the back. I had put the top back in the shipping cover when I took it off and I leave it on while carrying from the wall storage to the back of the Jeep. I leave the tailgate open and lay the top across the back. I work the top around until I can get the little rollers in to the track in the door surrounds and then lift the top in to the brackets and then put the bolts in. Then I take the shipping cover off after that. Then lift the top up in to position and latch the locks up on the windshield header and lock the locks in the back. Don't know if this will work for you like it does me or not, but hopefully it will.

100% if you don’t have the shipping wrap, strap the arms together.

A wrap/boot to keep it together is definitely beneficial. I also wrap the bows in towels so they don’t scratch the sport bar while I’m maneuvering it on.

Once it is lifted up and rested on the back, I lower the rear seats and lift it up onto the brackets from inside the cargo area. I’ve found that’s much easier for me than lifting it up to line up on the brackets from outside.

I too install the ST on my own. All brackets on first, bungees around canvas top, lift rods with rollers to their tracks while placing pivots onto the roll cage bracket. Remove bungees, latch front and finish installing all the windows.

Thank you all. Wish there was a video. I’ve used the factory soft top cover and wrapped it up tightly. I’ve scratched the shit out of things trying to get it in place.
I will try it again soon once weather gets better. Appreciate your advice

I have some Velcro straps that I synch down around it to keep it wrapped up tight.

Also install by myself. Fingers crossed that next weekend is the swap from the hard top to the soft top.

I would use the garage hoist to lift the soft top assembly onto the jeep.
