Your bumper and winch combo looks great! I see that Smittybilt offers different texture finishes. Which one did you choose?

Thank you. I chose the mat black textured. Do not like gloss at all...just a personal preference...

I really like your setup. Do you have pictures of the back bumper and any pictures from the side? How did you mount your rear lic plate? Did you mount a front lic plate?

For the rear, I used the Artec from Northridge. More expensive but I didn’t have as many options. The Smittbillt was supposed to come with a relocation bracket, but the jacks that installed it lost the bracket so I won’t know how that one works. I really do like the Artec though.

Thanks for the pics, I really like that setup. I was going back and forth between LōD and Smittybilt, for the price you can’t really go wrong either. Did you mount a light on your rear lic plate?

I haven’t yet. I probably will at some point.

The Smittybilt comes with rear LED lights. The same shop “lost’ those too but Smittybilt just sent me a replacement set, no charge.
Just an FYI for their service and the 2 holes at the bottom of the bumper

I need some opinions here. I have been looking at the Smittybilt XRC Gen2 also, but I am finding two versions. One for the JK (PN 76807 for $299), and another for the JL (PN 77807 for $499). Has it not been determined that the frame mounts for both, the JK and JL, are similar enough to be cross compatible? My apologies, but I have been away from a JK for a few years. Just picked up a JLUR and want to avoid spending any more unnecessary dollars on my new 'driveway money pit'. Thanks in advance for your thoughts.

Do you have the stock suspension or have you added a lift? Do you feel that with the extra weight in the front that your front end droops/sags? I like the looks of the XRC Gen2, but I have stock suspension at the moment.

I have a Teraflex 2.5” lift on Falcon shocks. I have not noticed any sag.

Front LP uses Rusty’s flip up LP holder. Back LP I modified and relocated the included S/B LP holder from the spare to the bumper. Spliced the LP light with QD also.

I recently added this bumper to my JLU along with the x20 10k winch. I really like the look of this and got the front and rear bumpers on sale. I found the install of the bumper / winch to be fairly easy given the instructions weren’t the best. I upgrade from the plastic bumper so I was able to reuse my stock fogs.

Disregard the advertisement for Oulaw Off-road, it’s been removed since. (Another story)

Does the rear bumper come with mounting points for the factory 7-pin plug? The two holes?
