I saw some others weren’t sure about the difference in the two options of shocks offered. I also don’t know the difference.

Does anyone here know?

I have their 2.5” sport lift with black max shocks and it is great. Ride quality has been excellent, just as good if not a little softer than OEM.

I live around the corner from SkyJacker and in deciding this is the information I received and saw first hand at the shop - 1.5” will clear 35s on the street but rub Offroad. 2.5” will clear 37s street and 35s Offroad.

I have plenty of room for 37s, I would have to use an aftermarket wheel though. These are 34” on Rubicon wheels and I don’t have any issues with rubbing at dull flex or full turn.

Are you running the 315/70R17 Ridge Grapplers?

Here is an article that gives some pretty good input on thier shocks. The article doesnt show the most current model of the Blackmax.

Thank you, that was a good read. I’ll be honest, I still don’t quite know what the end result difference is for me. I assumed the M95 was better, as it’s more expensive. But what does better mean for me?

The article mentions old blown shocks and a vehicle bouncing non stop after hitting a bump, or a car that rattles you like crazy. Is the insinuation then, that the M95 will dampen very quickly/effectively so that you don’t keep bouncing non stop - but also do so gracefully so that it’s smooth and you don’t feel rattled?

I don’t want to get off topic too much, but I’ve heard others recommend the adjustable Rancho 9000XL shocks. What is the difference from one shock to another/what does it actually mean for a driver?

285/75/17 - wanted to stay narrow to make sure they fit you wouldn’t have any issues running that tire with this lift I will go bigger eventually

I’m back from vacation. I’ll try to install the kit after work if it’s not a busy day. I’ll have air tools lift and everything I need at work. It should not take long.

Well I got the kit installed in about 2 hours with a lift and air tools. I only live 5 miles from work so I’m going to let it settle and do the alignment tomorrow.

I have the 2.5 skyjacker with the Blackmax. Very happy and had money for other things like evo lower control arms. Mopar is just over priced.

Looks great! I want to get the skyjacker control arms and track bar to dial in everything perfectly
