Gobi, LOD and exposed racks are the ones I’m consideringDoes anyone know what racks work so I can open the sky top without hitting the racks
I was unsure until I grabbed onto my rain gutter and pulled myself off the ground. Plenty stout. My application is well within Thule dynamic load limits. Good luck figuring out your solution.@Initial-Jeep @baskiboat
Julian/Brian: these are great.
I do though have concern over too much weight being applied to the rain gutters on these racks, as well as the torsional forces of weight in the center of the cross member tending to pull up on the rain gutter attachment points or forces equivalent to grabbing an attached cross member and trying to spin it towards the front or rear of the rig (i.e. unbalanced front to back loads) also putting pressures on the rain gutters.
This is why the dee zee rack not fitting is a shame. The bumpers, and the fact that front and rear cross members are connected tend to address some of this stuff.
