Sky One Touch w/ side mounted camp canopy?

Looking for suggestions how to get a side canopy setup with my sky one touch. I know I can get something like the Adventure Rack Systems rack, but I'd like to avoid spending over 2k on a rack unless I plan on a RTT. Are there any gutter mount only shades out there?

I was planning on getting gutter mounted cross bars and mounting my Batwing to it. I haven't tried it yet, but I think it should work. I wouldn't leave it on all the time, but you probably could. I haven't looked into what the fiberglass rain gutters are rated for yet. I assume they reinforced them so you could mount ski racks and such, but an awning hanging off of the side creates some unique stresses.
