Sky One Touch top leaking in hard rain

Just searching a resolution. I just received my Wrangler Rubicon 392 a couple weeks ago. Yesterday we had high wind and heavy rains. I opened up the driver rear door to put something in and my leather seat was very wet, as well as carpeting surrounding. Anything in particular I can look for?

I would think that the most obvious thing to do would be to take it to a dealership.

Indeed it would. It would also be the most time consuming and inconvenient option. Hence asking the question here. Seeing if others had the same issue and realized (and could share) a quick DIY fix.

If it's leaking it's defective. And yes, a quick DIY fix might make the leak go away for a while.

I got by Jeep back from the dealership 2 days ago & I washed it today with the water hose no hard pressure and it’s still leaking it’s going back to the dealership tomorrow

My 2023 JLR is leaking in the exact same spot. I'll have to take it in also. I wish someone had a resolution to this but im having a hard time finding one.

Has anyone found a solution? Here's mine ('24 High Altitude) same spot and after heavy rain:

Update: dealer found and fixed the leak. It was due to the side weather seal: 1) not seating properly and 2) wasn’t long enough to reach the back of the perpendicular seal.

Mine is leaking in the same spot, but took several years to start. Was it a quick fix, planning to take mine to the dealer and see what they say. If there is any more detail you have would be great so i can point them in the right direction.

Is yours leaking from the SOT top or from the side panel thing, or are you unsure where it’s coming from?

Appears to be at the very back of the cloth where it meets the back panel. I took the side panels off and cleaned the gaskets and water management channels to allow those to drain, but no luck so far.

What is the part number for the seal? And then the other question is what is the weatherstripping supposed to look like in the front cause I keep getting the leak over the driver side vanity mirror and it’s so annoying.
