Sky One-Touch Power-Top removal issues?

I wouldn’t try to take it off in one piece, besides it is easier to store in two pieces (well, four if you count the quarter windows. I hung mine from the ceiling in my shed.

i like the softtop in summer too.

Sorry, I know this thread is old, but did you get any errors on the dash after removing the sky touch? I'm being told by the dealership that I would, and I'm looking at a 2026, so I'm hoping he's just guessing?

i took mine off to swap out it for a temp hardtop while waiting for a new camper top 2019 v 2024 mine the header was wrong so didn’t do it and put it back on no issues at all

Both of my Jeep were factory hardtops that I put an SOT on, I have not received any errors in the dash. I think he’s guessing but I see no difference between this and taking off a hardtop and putting on the softtop on a dual top Jeep. Many have done this swap both ways without problems.

eta. A quick way to check is just unplug the top at the left rear connector, it’s just a small cover and the connector is the same as a regular hardtop.

I just drove it home but now I'm pretty disappointed to find that the front is structurally different and I can't attach a soft top to it. Looks like I'm going to have to order it to get what I want. : /
