SiriusXM confirmation email?

I have been receiving emails from SiriusXM, asking me to confirm my email address. The wording is such that it is not clear if I need to confirm in order to continue the free subscription (had JL 2 weeks) or if they are just fishing for info. Today I received a "Final Reminder" to confirm my email "to make the most of your trial." Has anyone not confirmed, and if so, did you the satellite radio still work?

No, you will not lose your free trial. Of course, your free trial will terminate on X and then you will need to call SiriusXM and get a subscription.

Good to know. Not planning on keeping it. Used to have it when I traveled for work. Now work from home. One less bill.

I am not confirming anything with them, let alone providing any account information. Once the free promotion is over they're gone. I haven't been listening to it anyway. Used to my local stations and usually stream over my phone through bluetooth. One less worry.
