I saw this across my dashboard again today for the umpteenth time and it made me think about all the forum members that have been driving Jeeps for a long time. So, JL people, how long have you been with Jeep?

Just got mine last year 2021! Have always loved Jeeps since I was little. My neighbor had a bright orange CJ-5, lifted and loud and since then have always dreamed of having one

Since 1965 off road ( license in 67) riding as long as I can remember. Dad’s 3A that I was taught to drive is now a family heirloom.

Bought my CJ-7 in the summer of 1989. I still have it. Bought my JK a couple years ago. My wife liked it so much we bought a JL a few months later. We still have all of them. I’m not very good at getting rid of jeeps.

Since 2010 for me; my dad and I were driving a old mining road and got passed by a TJ flying down it. We both looked at each other and said one of us needs to get one. Been driving one ever since!
Had a 2010 JK then a 2012 JK, traded that in for a 2021 JLU

*When I was a young kid, my Grandfather had a blue Wagoneer. I have fond memories of him and that Jeep.

First vehicle I ever steered on my dads lap was a 1976 CJ5. (1981)

First vehicle I ever drove by myself around a hayfield at 8 years old was a 1973 Wagoneer. (1985)

Bought my first Jeep in 1999 (TJ)

Got married in that TJ in 2005

Since then I’ve had two more TJ’s, 2 JK’s, a JL and have another JL ordered.

I have also owned a dozen flat fenders, all the way from a 1942 GPW, to a 1964 3B.

My first Jeep was a 1995 Grand Cherokee Laredo. Then got a 2001 Grand Cherokee Laredo S.

My first Wrangler was a 2008 Sahara 2-door soft top with manual transmission.

Had a used 1988 Comanche for 6 years. Had a 2008 JKU since new for 13 years and 196k miles. Now have a 2021 JL.

Since 2006 I’ve had a TJ, YJ or JL with the exception of 2013-2014.

Got my first Jeep in ‘89, an ‘88 YJ Sahara. I had a ‘75 Scout II in ‘82 when I was 17. My dad bought a new XJ in ‘85.

I’m on my 5th Jeep now having had the YJ, an XJ Cherokee 2 door, an MJ Comanche and a JK 2 door Sport. My wife recently got an WS Wagoneer.

First vehicle I ever rode in was my dad's CJ-7, home from the hospital in '85 after coming into this world. Guess you could say the game was rigged from the start...

XJ 4.0l LO => JKUR 2.8l Diesel => JLUR 3.6l... My brother's even worse ^^
