Side steps from ironman4x4 and anti rust coating

Hi Experts,

I am a new Rubicon 4xe owner and I need your advice. I opted for anti rust coating from my dealership. Now I want to install ironman4x4 heavy duty side steps, which are mounted on actual frame of the Rubicon. My query is: When I will remove the factory installed steel rock slider. It will expose the uncoated antirust area. I am worried how to fix this while remaining covered by the dealership for anti rust protection. I really appreciate your kind suggestions or someone had already gone through this case specifically.

I saw that there are already areas where anti rust coating is not applied properly.

I wouldn't be too concerned. I have a Rubicon and throw on Sahara steps for the wintertime and it's never been an issue. 2 Canadian winters already. If you're really that concerned, hit the area with some POR15.

Those dealership add-ons are usually some half baked pile of not done right garbage that your pictures show.

They charge a premium for a cheap low effort add on. You generally can't get all the spots when you coat underneath but that screams 1 pass don't care what I missed to me.

I'd put the rails on and ? the dealership obviously lol.

Thank you all for your reply and recommending POR15. Chrysler dealership @ Vaughan has made me suffer for each and every tiny thing. I have sent the same pictures to them to show them what cheap job they have done.
