I like these, I too have a Sahara JL 2018, how much were they if I may ask,. and how hard were they to put on?
I installed them single handed about 1 hour per side including removing the Sahara plastic steps, however with two people would be much easier lifting them in place. I then sold my plastic steps for $175

here is the write up I did regarding the steps as well as how to get the best price (Note this was installed prior to the 3.5" Lift I had a 2" spacer lift at the time of install.

Carid.com has the Dominator slider $369 ($80 below anyone else) and the drop steps $113 per pair I ordered via Quadratec who price matched Carid and saved on sales tax.

Part Number
Dominator D-6 Slider Go Rhino D64506T
Go Rhino Dominator Drop Step D6410000T Package of 2

Note you have to add to cart to see the drop step option

Here are the installation instructions https://www.carid.com/images/go-rhino/items/pdf/d64506t-installation-instructions.pdf

Also what sold me was the warranty
Finish Warranty:
  • 5-year warranty on black powder coat products
Here is a link to a video that discusses them https://www.carid.com/go-rhino/6-dominator-d6-wheel-to-wheel-black-running-boards-mpn-d64506t.html#view-gallery

How dark are these? I know they say textured black, but in the picture they look more of a gunmetal. That could be the lighting though.. always hard to tell in pics.

They're black. Yes the lighting makes them look lighter, but they are straight black powder coat.

Do any of these JL's have skid plates? If so could you show pics of how they are mounted with the LOD sliders.
Our Sliders fit with the factory skid plates, I'm not sure about the Jeeps in the pictures posted.

@Tony08, the red Rubicon has the full Artec aluminum bellypan under it. It gets tight on the passenger side along the fuel tank, but it does fit.

Here is the install write-up on the Artec belly pan.

Pic showing the fuel tank skid and side step:

Arrows show the rear two LoD slider mounts under the Artec fuel tank skid.

We spaced down the brackets up against the body mounts with some 1/4" washers to match the belly pan thickness.
