LMAO..... where we live in NOVA there's tons of ignorant people who can't park and don't care about others. 3 days after I brought my jeep home, I saw one of these folks pull in and slam their door into my side steps. Gave me a good laugh and him a good ding.
I agree. It's ridiculous in NoVA. In fact I'm in the market for sliders/steps, and parking lot door ding protection is just as important a requirement as rock protection.LMAO..... where we live in NOVA there's tons of ignorant people who can't park and don't care about others. 3 days after I brought my jeep home, I saw one of these folks pull in and slam their door into my side steps. Happened to me again last night, as we're walking out of the restaurant kid swung his door open. Oddly it was a car - I always thought my kids to be very careful so you don't wreck your own car.I agree. It's ridiculous in NoVA. Do those things get caught on rocks and mud and stuff they look like they would hang up on everything. I like those but fear they will take away a few inches of my liftRough Country solid steps. Wife and kiddos love them.

Little late I'm sure, but since you asked, and I added small LED light strips tapped into the footwell lighting circuits.I'm looking for real pictures of JLs with the Rough Country DS2 side steps. There are brochure style photos on the reseller's websites, but I'm looking for normal every day pictures. I'm trying to decide between the original RC DS side steps versus the newer DS2 side steps. Please post your pictures of your DS2s if you have them. I tried Google Images, but only brochure photos there too. Thanks.

For rocks, you'd want something high and tight. All depends on what one is looking for. My priority was side armor, but I still had to consider my less than 4'11" commanding officer, so I went with the LOD Destroyers.Do those things get caught on rocks and mud and stuff they look like they would hang up on everything. aren't these the ones that mount to the body AND frame?RockHard

never was a problem only bc i didnt wheel that hard. I have since replaced them with true slider steps thoDo those things get caught on rocks and mud and stuff they look like they would hang up on everything. I like those but fear they will take away a few inches of my lift
the solution for that is the Go Rhino Dominator D-6 where the drops are removable and the leaves you with a full clearance slider.Do those things get caught on rocks and mud and stuff they look like they would hang up on everything. I like those but fear they will take away a few inches of my lift
