I'm thinking of going from my 315 KO2s to the 37-12.5r17 KO2s. Just looked up prices from Discount Tire and see that they have lowered their veteran discount to only 5%. Any other vendors you are using?

It takes a little work, but Walmart.com has good tire prices. Have them shipped to the store, then drag a couple of carts back to customer pick-up to load the tires in and drag those to the auto service department for mounting and balancing. Saves you a few hundred bucks over having them order and install the tires. Seems silly, but I'll take $300 for 15minutes of work any day.

Recently bought some tires from DT with a discount plus 10% back for using their credit card. Paid the bill off when it came due. They (Synchrony) will cancel the card by the next time I need it so it's always an open/close game.

Costco - They were cheaper than any of the tire shops I went to PLUS I used their Citi cash back card and use your executive membership to get money back

I'm disappointed DT cut their mil discount to only 5%. Luckily, I got my last order in just (literally the day) before they cut it. Shouldn't need any more tires any time soon.

Choose your installer carefully. Wal-Mart's auto center gouged the alloys on my wife's Honda during tire installation, and then disclaimed responsibility. False economies do occur.

We've since switched to Costco, who's service and pricing have been very good.

I am not a fan of my local Discount Tire store. However, Discount Tire Direct sold me the 5 tires I wanted for $315 less than my local DT store. $315 :whatsgoingon: I'll still have my local store mount and balance.
OP, I'm going the other way with my JLR, 37's to 35's. My 3 yr. old 37" Cooper STT Pro have 20K driven and 30K flat towed and have been excellent. However 35's are the sweet spot on a stock axled JLR IMHO.
