You paint a pretty picture:)
I hope to get a lot of photos once my Rubicon comes in. My Trailhawk filled the void until the JL was released, but there were still a lot of areas we could not access. I love being out at dusk, and I think the Punk’n will make for great pictures.

I’m very curious to see what it looks like. :whatsgoingon::jk:
From what I understand the paint code is exactly the same as Destroyer gray which can be seen on Challengers and Chargers :)

I’m about to move to AZ, so looking forward to the Punk’n matching the sunsets. I also plan to be off-road a lot and love to explore and take photos so I can’t wait to get some good ones.
AZ does have some of the most beautiful sunsets I've ever seen (something about dust in the air reflecting the light). Tons of four-wheeling around all year long. Plus we're close to Moab and Colorado.

Given that, what would you select for your top? Matched color or black?

I have my VIN, but still stuck in D status. Hopefully mine will be one of those that just all the sudden fly through to delivery.

Damnit! I didn’t know the secret handshake at the 3 order club.

I switched my white 2 door Rubi to stingray. Apparently I may have to reorder. Or some such nonsense. Will have confirmation in a couple of days if it’s a revision or a new order.
Oooh! Sting-gray! Two-door no less...the wait begins ;)

I’m going to check out houses in Chandler / Gilbert next week. Are you familiar with those areas, or have any suggestions on places to look? My main priority is good schools for my daughter. (Elementary school).

Originally I had planned to explore some of the trails, but now I will be in a rental so that’s not going to happen. Any information you have on the area for living, or exploring off road would be great.

Unfortunately I live in the far west valley and you’re looking at the exact opposite side! There are a lot of trails around Lake Pleasant and Crown King that are good in the winter. Most of them are mild to moderate so very relaxing. On your side of town the only thing I know is around Four Peaks and some harder stuff around Florence. In the summer we love to go up around Stoneman Lake, Rocky Park and Munds Park. These are all off of I-17 north of Sedona. Much cooler up there! You may want to get the Guide to Arizona Backroads and 4-Wheel Drive Trails by Charles Wells-really good book!

I will pick that book up, thank you! I have a similar book for Moab, and one for Colorado already, so it makes sense to add AZ to the collection.

There seem to be a lot of active people in AZ, I love it. Already found a few hiking groups to join as well so I’m hoping for a fun fall this year. Im sure after the move, I will be pretty tired this spring and summer, but plan to make the Rubicon earn its cost. And with the new JLUR, that’s a lot.

I only like a matching top colour, matching fenders too,all personal taste of course... I have had 3 Wranglers since 2007 and the 2010 I had a body shop paint the top to match as at that time Jeep did not offer that as an option, they cursed me when they tried to sand the textured finish of the black hardtop but it looked great in the end. I will be placing my SECOND order Monday! Sting Gray and will order the black top as the coloured one is still restricted,if it opens up before my order goes to D1 I will change it,if not I will get it sanded and painted as soon as it arrives, the black top is $800 CDN cheaper than the body coloured so just a bit of inconvenience
