Safety Group Unavailability

Please forgive me if the following question has been answered. I did a search and did not see any results for this particular question, though it seems something others have probably asked.

When using Jeep build and price, the Advanced Safety Group's Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop and Enhanced Adaptive Cruise Control are listed as "Unavailable with some configurations." I would assume this would have to do with the manual transmission option as the computer can not change gears if needed. Is this thought correct?

I am interested in a manual transmission JLUR after I re-homed my automatic JKUWW to my aging father as he was having trouble shifting his TJ due to nerve damage in his legs. I then bought a full-size truck. I miss the Jeep, and so does the wife, so we are looking again, but I want the third pedal this time.

Can anybody please clarify what the "Unavailable with some configurations" means for these added groups? I want to make sure the package would not be waste of money if I would not get the features I am paying for because of the transmission.

From the order guide, pg 26, it looks like the Adaptive Cruise with Stop option (NH3) is available on all automatic transmission Rubicons while the manual transmission (DEM) model has the Enhanced Adaptive Cruise (NH1). What the difference between NH1 and NH3 looks like you need to find out. Obviously, NH3 won't come to a complete stop since the control system cannot shift out of gear. Not sure what it would do under those conditions, but a well trained salesman should know. Alternately, look for the 2020 or 2021 owners manual and read the section on adaptive cruise.

Unfortunately, over years through now, despite discussing with many, I‘ve yet to meet a Jeep salesman who knows as much as I do about Jeeps, and this question has certainly boggled a few already. I will dig in a bit more in the order guide like you mentioned. THANK YOU!
